Dr. Echols graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2001. He has been practicing dentistry in Cullman since 2004. Growing up in Birmingham, he always thought about living in a small town one day.
Dr. Echols married his wife, Leslie, in 1998. They have three children, Ethan, Addie, and Nolan. Dr. Echols has served on the Foundation Board of Trustees for Cullman Regional Medical Center as well as the Good Samaritan Health Clinic. He is a deacon at Cullman Church of Christ and serves his community by working with missions and the youth of the church.
Dr. Echols enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids play sports, traveling, hunting, and golfing.
Dr. Porter was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to the South in 1969. He attended Shades Valley High before moving on to Montevallo University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Med. Upon graduating, he attended UAB Dental School, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1983.
Dr. Porter is married to Sharon Haygood of Decatur, and they have two sons, Trey and Tyler. He has been in private practice for 37 years and just loves dentistry too much to quit!

Dr. Tucker is a Cullman native and a 1984 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College in 1988, he attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1992.
Upon receiving his dental degree, Dr. Tucker then completed a two-year dental General Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston before returning to Birmingham and entering private practice in 1994.
For over 25 years, Dr. Tucker has built his practice around all aspects of family dentistry, including a focus on dental implant restorations, Invisalign orthodontics, esthetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, and dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Tucker, his wife, Cortney, and their two sons recently relocated to the Cullman area. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys an array of outdoor activities with his family.
Our team always aims to provide our patients with the same high-quality care that we would want our own families to receive, as we view our patients as being a part of our dental family!
I have been working in dental offices in Decatur since 2005. In 2020, I was offered the opportunity to work for Cullman Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. I jumped at the chance to work with an awesome group of people and an amazing patient base.
My husband Zeb and I have been married since 2002 and have a beautiful daughter named Livvie.

Hi! I have been with Dr. Echols since November 2011. I have been married to Kevin for over 25 years, and we have a wonderful outgoing son named Brody. We love doing things together as a family and watching Brody grow into his own person. We are so excited to be building a new home on the farm where we are raising Brody.
Abbie Social Media Coordinator
I have been in dentistry since 2017, working as a receptionist. I took a temporary break in 2019 to stay home with my son, Atticus, and joined back in 2021. It still feels like home! I have been married to my wonderful husband, Caleb, since 2018, and we have two children together. I am also the co-worship leader at my church, where I have played piano and sang for many years.

Hi! I am Adriana, and I have worked in the dental field since 2018 as front office staff. I joined Dr. Echols’ office in August 2021 after having been a long-time patient here. I just loved the team and knew I wanted to be a part of it as soon as the job was offered!
I have been married to my husband, Jose, since August 2021, and we have one son together. In my spare time, I love to watch Netflix and spend time with my family. I am also bilingual!
Karen Hygiene Coordinator
I have been in dentistry since 2004. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, and have lived in Cullman since 1990. I love living in the South and will forever call this home!
In my spare time, I enjoy horseback riding, traveling out West, and, most of all, spending time with my family!
Kaitlin Treatment Coordinator
I have been a part of Dr. Echols’ team since July 2022 after being a patient here for three years. I have two dogs — an Aussie named Dixie and a chihuahua named Tink. In my free time, I enjoy playing outside with my dogs and spending time with family.

Amanda Dental Assistant
I have worked in dentistry for over 20 years. I joined Dr. Echols’ team in August 2012. I am married and have two boys. I enjoy reading, football, and spending time with my family.
Lisa Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant for 24 years. My passion is to make patients comfortable!
I have been married to my husband for 15 years, and together we have five children and five grandchildren! In our spare time, we enjoy doing barbecue competitions and spending time with our children and grandchildren.
Maddie Dental Assistant
I have been working with Dr. Echols since February 2022, helping assist in the lab. I love to snack, hike, and watch Netflix. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, Griffin, who is a German Shorthaired Pointer. I have been married to my sweet husband, Austin, since October 2022.
Nancy Dental Assistant
I have witnessed many changes and advancements in my 40+ years as a Dental Assistant.
I married my Jr. High School sweetheart in 1998. We enjoy Genealogy and spending time with our families. Our combined family consists of 7 children, 20 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. I sing in my church choir and love serving others.
Tayler Dental Assistant
I have been a part of the Cullman Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since September 2021 after being a patient of Dr. Echols for a while. You can find me in the back assisting the dentist during your appointment!
I have been married since February 2020 to my husband, Matthew, and in June 2021, we had our first son, Isaac. We love spending time together and attending Desperation Church in Cullman.

Alex Dental Assistant
I graduated from Wallace State Dental Assisting Program in May 2015. I did my clinical with Dr. Echols and was lucky enough to join his team in August 2015.
My husband Justin and I have been married since 2017. We have one daughter named Amelia, who we adore! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and church family. When we aren’t spending time with them, we love to binge-watch our favorite shows.
Debra Hygienist
I have been in dentistry for over 20 years. I am a Georgia Bulldog by birth and an Auburn Tiger by choice.
I have been married to my farmer/firefighter for over 20 years. We have three children who give me both blessings and trouble. I enjoy the great outdoors and all kinds of crafts.
Flor Hygienist
Hi, my name is Flor, and I have worked in dentistry since 2012. I started as a receptionist and then transitioned into the clinical side of the field, assisting and then getting my hygiene license in 2019. I joined Dr. Echols’ team in 2022 and already feel like I’ve been here forever! This team is like a family!
I have been married since 2017, and we have one fur baby, a beagle named Archie. I am bilingual and originate from South Texas, and have lived in Cullman since 2005.
Janet Hygienist
I have worked in the dental profession since 1985. I received my dental hygiene license in 1991. I love working in our new state-of-the-art office.
My husband Max and I have two grown, married children, Jessica and Jonathon. I love spending time with my three grandchildren. I am blessed with a wonderful church family and enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors admiring God’s great creation. I am truly blessed.
Pam Hygienist
I’ve worked in Dentistry for over 40 years. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for over 40 years as well. Dwayne and I have a son and daughter who are grown.
We have a three-year-old granddaughter, a 25-year-old grandson, and a great-granddaughter who is now over a year old! We love to travel and explore new places. I love to garden and work with my flowers.
Tonya Hygienist
I began my dental career as an assistant in 1997, and from there, I received my dental hygiene license in 2000. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Paul Freeman from 2002 until his unexpected passing in May 2019. Dr. Echols, his staff, and his family welcomed me graciously to their team.
My husband Gary and I have been together for almost 23 years. We are the proud parents of our son Devin who is currently at the University of North Alabama, where he plays a baritone in the marching band. In our free time, we enjoy fostering puppies for a local rescue group!
Yvette Hygienist
I have been in dentistry for 34 years, 22 of those with Dr. Paul Freeman. I am very blessed to be welcomed by Dr. Echols and his awesome team and family!
I enjoy all the changing technology that has happened over the years and being able to share it with our patients. I love Jesus, my husband Rodney, my family, and traveling!
